Glowing faces!

I absolutely love a highlighter I can’t get enough of them, it just makes your face look even sexier.  I have a collection of them and thought I’d show you my favourite ones as I don’t think you can have too many!

Highlighters are there to enhance your features on your face, so when the sun hits your face you have a lovely glow. If you click on the chart link below this will help you with where you should put a highlighter.

I use them on my cheekbones, browbone, cupid’s bow, and inner corner of my eye.

  • Cheekbones – lifts the face and brings the cheekbones out
  • Brow – bone – enhances the eyebrow shape and lifts it
  • Cupid’s Bow – Gives the illusion the lips are fuller

Illamasqua

Gleam cream highlighter is one of my fav’s,  it came out a few years ago. It has a lovely creamy texture and gives a lovely glow on your cheeks. You could also use this under your foundation to give your skin a Jennifer Lopez dewy effect. You can buy this from www.illamasqua.com at £22.

NARS

NARS have a dual blusher/highlighter in sin and Albatross. The blusher (Sin) is a plum/berry colour with golden shimmer this is a lovely blusher for autumn/winter. The highlighter Albatross I like using on the inner corner of my eye to make them brighter. It’s a sheer light golden colour with a incredible luminosity. The cost is £30 and you could buy them  http://narscosmetics.co.uk

The Balm

The Balm’s Mary Lou Manizer is the newest edition to my collection I fell in love with this highlighter as soon as it touched my face! It’s a powder highlighter that feels so creamy and makes your cheekbones really pop. Just look at the swatch on my hands and you can see how pigmented this highlighter is. This has a golden tone and suits all skin colours. I bought this at Debenhams in the UK for £17.99 http://www.debenhams.com I was quite excited when I saw their counter at this department store.
